One of the best things about late summer and early fall is the fact that peaches are EVERYWHERE!
Mr. Beckett and I decided to celebrate our last Saturday of freedom with a yummy dinner of hamburgers and peach cobbler. I've never made it before...and the hubby has never made these special burgers. (They're stuffed with cheese, ham, white onions, green onions, and worcestershire sauce.)
It has been quite the stressful weekend. Reality is setting in. Mr. Hot Sauce and I are going back to school. I hope and pray that we will stay sane for the semester.
We went back-to-school shopping this past week. How fun is that! (Until we saw the bill). We are looking forward to the day when we're 75 and can spend our money on silly things, just because we can. That's our theory anyway. Let's see how it goes....I'll report when we're that old. (Do you think they'll still have blogs then?) :)
